Pourpoint inspired by iconographic representations from the late 14th century

In the offered version, it is made of plain silk taffeta, quilted according to the presented pattern, and fastened with buttons — either fabric, tin, or brass, depending on the selected option. The garment is fastened with buttons at the front and on the forearms; it is quilted with sheep’s wool batting and shaped to accentuate the silhouette.

The garment is made to the client’s measurements; therefore, providing the appropriate measurements is required. After placing the order, we will send the necessary form by email.

Outer fabric – solid-color silk taffeta
Filling – sheep’s wool
Lining – linen
Buttons – fabric, tin, or brass

Sewing standards

• Machine sewing – the garment is stitched and quilted by machine, with buttonholes finished by hand.
• Hand sewing – the garment is stitched and quilted by hand, with buttonholes finished by hand.
